Mid-year Update

We hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their summer! Since our last update in January, we’ve started to sell a ton more products and services, improved our infrastructure, and updated our websites.

Homepage redesign

We’ve completely redesigned our homepage to better suit the products and services we offer.

Featured at the top of the page is now a slider featuring one of our current domain promotions and some of our other services. This promo is automatically calculated from our upstream providers and will be recalculated at least once per day.

Next on our new homepage is a redesigned Everything you need to start or enhance your website section. This new design focuses on the steps needed to get your website from idea to something people can actually get to. We wanted our new and existing customers to easily be able to figure out what we offer and how to get it.

We’ve now moved our Causes page to our homepage to better highlight important initiatives we support. We feel that our charitable giving is an important part of our company and how we operate on a daily basis.

New contracting system

Over the past month, we’ve been building a new contracting system for our clients. With this new system, it’s much easier to manage your signed, unsigned, and expired contracts.

It also integrates deeply with our website, allowing you to sign in to it without actually “signing in” (if you’re already logged in to our website), view your unsigned contracts directly on your dashboard, and displays a notification when you have unsigned contracts.

Shared Hosting page redesign

Since enabling cPanel access for all of our hosting clients last November, our hosting supports a ton of new features. To highlight those features, we redesigned our shared hosting page to show those features.

We also updated our pricing table for hosting so that it’s easier to tell what the difference is between a monthly and annual plan.

Additionally, with a bunch of new addons now sold (see below for information on them), we also show which addons work well with our shared hosting.

SpamExperts Spam Filter

We now offer SpamExperts, a sophisticated spam filter and email archiving solution. We’ve been using it for a little while now, and let’s just say our inboxes are much more manageable!

G Suite

As we said earlier this year, we’d be selling G Suite by March 1st—and we are. G Suite is basically Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and everything else, but for your business (it also works for personal uses). Instead of having an @gmail.com email, you get to use your website.

G Suite starts at $5.45/month/user, and is available to order instantly on our website.

New SSL Certificate lineup

We’ve also overhauled our SSL Certificate lineup to now sell RapidSSL, GeoTrust, and Symantec certificates. These certs come in three different forms, as they did before: Domain Validation (DV), Organization Validation (OV), and Extended Validation (EV).

With these new certs, we’ve also overhauled the SSL Certificates page. It better explains SSL certs, shows the pricing better, and highlights the difference between types of certs.

Uptime Monitoring service

With our new Uptime Monitoring service, you’ll know exactly when your website or services go offline within minutes.

The network of 29 worldwide monitoring stations will check your website up to every minute to ensure it’s online. If it’s not, we’ll send an alert to your preferred method, set in the Uptime Monitoring Dashboard.

You can start with a free plan with one test at five-minute monitoring intervals, or upgrade to a paid plan with up to 40 tests and one-minute monitoring intervals. (Extra tests cost $1.42/month for paid plans—unavailable on the free plan.)

Project Management System

Just a couple days ago we turned on our new Project Management System. It allows us to have better communication throughout any projects we have with clients.

This system allows you to add new tasks to your project; see the status of your project and tasks; view related tickets, invoices, and files; view the amount of time we’ve spent on your project and how much time we spent on each task; and when we expect or promised a task would be completed.

If you have an active website maintenance or update contract/plan with us, you should have a project already for your website.

Oznorts Merch now available

Earlier this month we turned on the lights to our eCommerce store for Oznorts merch! We offer hoodies, sweatshirts, short- and long-sleeve t-shirts, crop-tops, baseball caps, beanies, tote bags, mugs, and beach blankets all with our logo on it. Items come in different colors with different colored logos.

More accurate and updated domain pricing

We now fetch our upstream providers’ domain pricing on a daily basis for every single domain we support so that we always provide the most up-to-date, cost-effective pricing to you. We also update the recurring pricing for domains already bought through our website to make sure that you get the best deal when renewing domains.

In addition to fetching the cheapest pricing, we now also (more reliably than before) show when a domain is on sale. This is highlighted on our Domain Registration page when viewing the pricing table and searching for a domain.

Pro tip: register or renew your domains for multiple years to save even more! Once a domain is in your cart, look underneath the price for a dropdown most likely already selected for 1 YEAR. Click that and you’ll see the yearly pricing for that domain for different lengths of time.

You can also do this for domain renewals! Head over to our Domain Renewals page and just click the dropdown for the number of years you want to renew it for!
